Description                             

DynaCrete® PC is a fortified concrete and multipurpose alkali cleaner that is designed to penetrate and clean concrete and masonry surfaces while removing oils, dirt, efflorescence, and grime from within the substrate.

·    Can be diluted for every potential cleaning requirement from full strength industrial to 1:1 or more dilution with clean water for daily cleaning requirements.

 Typical Uses                       

·    Removing oils, grease, stains, dirt, and contaminated surface residues.

·    Preparing surfaces prior to application of subsequent coatings.

·    Any strength daily cleaning applications which require a cleaner which will be effective, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly.

Preparation                            

The surface to be cleaned should be free of any loose dirt or materials prior to the application of PC.

Application                                   

Refer to the PC Material Safety Data Sheets regarding hazards and personal protection.  In case of accidental contact with the skin or eyes, flush thoroughly with clean water.

General Instructions                   

1.     PC can be used full strength for industrial applications where a muriatic or acetic acid wash might normally be used, or diluted to whatever strength might be required.  Pre-wetting the surface to be cleaned can sometimes aid in the penetration of PC.

2.     For maximum strength, do not dilute DynaCrete® PC or pre-wet surfaces to be cleaned.

Applicators Please Note:

Some surfaces can be damaged by a full strength application of DynaCrete® PC.                     Always try a small test patch prior to application.  This is especially important for architectural surfaces which can be sensitive to cleaners

3.  Apply Deep Clean to the most heavily saturated or hard to clean areas first.

4.  Apply PC thereafter as needed, spread and brush in with a stiff  broom, allow the PC to “etch” the surface for about 30 minutes.

5.  Do not allow the applied Deep Clean to dry out during this 30  minutes.  Apply a fine spray of water as necessary to keep the PC wet for the 30 minutes of application.

6.  Pay close attention during this 30 minutes to ensure that surfaces are not damaged.  If damage occurs, flush with water immediately.

7.  Rinse with clean water.  Repeat as needed or until no suds appear.  Rinsing with hot, high pressure water may speed up the rinsing process.

Exterior Applications               

Apply DynaCrete® PC generously over the surface by pouring, spraying, etc.  Use a stiff broom or scrubbing machinery to lightly agitate and scrub the product into the surface.  Allow to “etch” for about 30 minutes.  Rinse with clean, high pressure water.

 Interior Applications               

Apply PC in smaller areas to facilitate easier clean-up, unless a high pressure sprayer can be used.  Mop and rinse floors in a normal manner

Clean Up                                     

Clean brushes, application equipment and containers with water.  Important: In cases where there is an environmental concern regarding the rinse run-off, (i.e. rinse run-off down drains), it is always recommended to neutralize the alkali content of the rinse water with a light application of a mildly acidic solution or powder, (i.e. Oxalic acid) prior to flushing and rinsing.

 Limitations
